Dr. (Professor) Himanshu Gupta is an Orthopaedic surgeon and a specialist in Sports Injury and Sports Medicine. He received training for 11½ years from the prestigious AIIMS Delhi, where he completed his MBBS, MS orthopaedics, and senior residency. He has more than 14 years of experience after post-graduation. He was a faculty in Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine at Sports Injury Centre (Safdarjung Hospital), and he taught many post-doctorates, trainees, and observers as a professor.
He has received extensive training in all types of advanced arthroscopic surgeries and robotic and manual joint replacement surgeries. His particular expertise includes rotator cuff surgeries, shoulder dislocation surgeries, meniscus transplant and repair, knee ligament reconstructions, cartilage and joint preservation surgeries, surgeries for patellar dislocation, ankle and wrist arthroscopy, etc. He has many research publications in high-quality international and national journals and has contributed chapters in speciality books on Orthopaedics. He is frequently invited to conferences and workshops as faculty to teach budding surgeons.
